The GEMInIS magazine, organized by the Group of Studies about Interactive Media on Image and Sound (Grupo de Estudos de M\u00eddias Interativas em imagem e som \u2013 GEMInIS) announces the opening of the call for papers for its second edition. At this time, the publication will focus the main theme: Mobility: trends and challenges on the digital era.\u201d We intent to discuss the impact of the mobile devices digital convergence into the contemporary society. This impact occurs in a large range of fields, like education and cultural\/artistic productions. The thematic is subdivided in the following areas:<\/p>\n

The articles must be submitted until February 27, 2011 to the following email address: revista.geminisufscar@gmail.com<\/a>. The text can be written in Portuguese, Spanish or English. The format and file extension of the article has to be .DOC. The minimum size is 7 pages (around 2500 words), and the maximum is 25 pages (circa 11300 words). The article\u2019s structure, including its abstract, the direct\/indirect quotes, the references, images and tables must be adapted to ABNT<\/a> rules of publishing.<\/p>\n

The authors have to attach to the work an \u201cauthorization term for publishing\u201d, signed by themselves in the following worlds. \u201cI ___________ (complete name of the author), in the case of my paper being selected by the magazine editorial committee, authorize the publication of my article _____________ (title of the article), written by _______ (names of the authors) in the periodic. This term must be sent in PDF or JPG formats.<\/p>\n

About GEMInIS Magazine<\/a>: Publication of semiannual periodicity, linked to the Group of Studies about Interactive Media in audiovisual. (Grupo de Estudos de M\u00eddias Interativas em Imagem e Som \u2013 GEMInIS). The group is supported by the post-graduation program in Image and Sound of the Federal University of S\u00e3o Carlos (UFScar). The first edition approached Audiovisual Serial Fiction, and it is available at the periodic website.<\/a><\/p>\n
